competition law

Lola Santos

Lola investigates the coherence (or lack thereof) of EU data regulation, both across the obligations imposed by different legal instruments and in connection with the overall stated policy goals of EU data regulation. She also evaluates how EU data regulation influences the utilisation of data as an economic resource by firms, particularly exploring how data access and portability contribute to the competition between businesses and their incentives to innovate. She holds an LLM from the College of Europe. Previously she completed her degree in Law at Loyola University Andalucía, and a double degree in Business Administration from both, this university, and Loyola University Chicago.
